After participating first big visioning session in the NY office, today surrounded by people who are more accomplished than I could only hope to be I have found a renwed obession for retail.

J+J Invision, Bernhardt & Izzy were kind enough to treat some of us here at Gensler New York to a sailing outing aboard the Yacht Ventura. I’m pretty sure this is something I could work into my weekly routines!

Waiting patiently in line at @DVF made Troy and I think about how we need to become real big deals in NY before next year.:) But despite that we had lots of fun visiting stores in the Meatpacking District and purchasing items from The Shops at Target and the great temporary stores that have been set up under The High Line next door to DVF. Definitely worth checking out if not only for the food. ( They will be there through October) AND I heard a rumor of AMAZING Thai inspired hot dogs from Asian Dog. ;)

This past week Bryant Park was taken over by what else, SHEEP! In an effort bring more awareness to The Campaign For Wool, Gensler provided creative support for the Wool Uncovered event. Aside from education and a fascinating fountain installation it provided a great alternative to the typical lunch break! ~amberlee
